Designed for Winter Charging

When an EV is plugged in outdoors, its charging port can remain open and exposed to winter weather for several hours or overnight.

Wet snow and freezing precipitation can accumulate around the charging connection, making an otherwise simple charging session considerably less convenient.

WinterGuard creates a protective hood over the charging-port area while your Epiq is plugged in, helping shield the connection from falling snow and freezing precipitation.

Secure Vehicle-Specific Fit

WinterGuard isn't a universal charging-port cover.

This version is designed specifically around the charging-port area of the Škoda Epiq, providing a clean vehicle-specific fit.

The integrated turn-lock mechanism helps hold the cover securely in position during charging.

Installation

The WinterGuard arrives preassembled and requires no permanent modification to your vehicle.

1. Open the charging-port door.
2. Position the WinterGuard over the charging-port area.
3. Secure the cover using the integrated turn-lock.
4. Connect the charging cable and make sure the connector is fully inserted and locked.
5. Confirm that charging has started normally.

After charging, disconnect the charging cable and remove the WinterGuard before closing the vehicle's original charging-port door.

Always remove the WinterGuard before driving.

Important Information

WinterGuard provides additional protection from snow, freezing rain and winter precipitation while the vehicle is parked and charging. It does not make the vehicle's charging system waterproof or guarantee that ice cannot form under all weather conditions.

During heavy snowfall or severe icing conditions, accumulated snow or ice may still need to be cleared manually.

Always make sure the charging connector is fully inserted and properly locked before charging.

Do not use the cover if it is cracked, damaged, deformed or cannot be securely installed.

Always remove the WinterGuard before driving.

Follow the vehicle and charging-equipment manufacturer's instructions when connecting, charging and disconnecting your vehicle.
